A growing electrical business is looking for a Sales Engineer to take charge of its Low Voltage Motor portfolio across South Africa and Zambia . Youll split your time between both countries each monthso if you're ready to pack your passport and bring your A-game to both markets, this is your chance to build lasting client relationships, drive new business, and be the go-to person for all things LVM.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Electrical qualification (N6, NDip, or Electrical Trade Test minimum)
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales (low voltage motors, DBs, MCBs, isolators, etc.)
- 10 years in the electrical construction/maintenance space
- Valid passport and willingness to travel to Zambia for 2 weeks per month
- Based in Johannesburg or Pretoria
- Own vehicle and driver's license
Job requirements and experience
- Own and grow the Low Voltage Motor sales portfolio in Zambia and South Africa
- Identify new business and close deals with key clients across both countries
- Deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and track targets through a robust sales matrix
- Support clients with technical expertise and help co-create custom solutions
- Build long-term partnerships and resolve customer concerns proactively
- Work closely with internal teams to drive product promotions and technical support
- Operate with full accountabilityyour targets, your relationships, your success
