- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, and plant systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to restore operations quickly.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements: ð??? Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- GCC registration (advantageous).
- 5+ years experience in electrical maintenance within heavy manufacturing, mining, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor control systems, HV/LV distribution, and automation.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OHS Act, SANS codes) and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
