- Assist the Maintenance Department with daily electrical maintenance activities under supervision.
- Gain practical experience in electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with routine inspections, preventative maintenance, fault identification and basic electrical repairs under supervision.
- Assist with the safe handling and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment and materials.
- Adhere to electrical safety standards, occupational health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of practical training and workplace experience.
- Support general maintenance activities and departmental tasks as required.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Proof of completion of an N6 Qualification in Electrical obtained through a recognised TVET College
- Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, installations and maintenance
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Willingness to learn and develop practical technical skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
