Our client is seeking a technically strong professional with expertise in electrical distribution networks, reticulation design and construction management to deliver projects from concept through to completion.
Requirements: · Minimum of seven years’ experience in the design and construction management of Eskom and municipal distribution and reticulation networks. · Education: BEng, BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering. · Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech.Eng.
· Strong knowledge of Eskom, SANS, NRS and IEEE standards.
· Good understanding of building services and multidisciplinary project environments.
· Knowledge of renewable energy solutions; Grid Code Compliance experience would be advantageous.
· Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, Autodesk Suite, CDEGS (AutoGrid Pro), Power Office and Retic Master.
· Experience with PowerFactory (DIgSILENT) would be an advantage.
· Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
