Key Responsibilities: · Provide electrical engineering support across manufacturing operations · Manage and support electrical maintenance and improvement projects · Investigate electrical equipment failures and implement corrective solutions · Optimise plant electrical systems to improve reliability and efficiency · Support the design, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment · Work closely with maintenance, production and automation teams · Assist with electrical fault finding and root-cause investigations · Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation · Monitor compliance with electrical, safety and engineering standards · Support capital projects and equipment upgrades · Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and plant performance · Assist with preventative maintenance strategies and equipment reliability · Provide technical guidance to maintenance and production personnel · Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements: · Matric · BEng/ BSc/ BTech Electrical Engineering · ECSA registration · Electrical engineering experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment · Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems · Experience with manufacturing equipment and plant utilities · Knowledge of automation, PLCs and control systems would be advantageous · Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
