Take your electrical engineering experience into a technically demanding environment in the Netherlands. This opportunity is suited to an experienced Electrical Engineer who can take modifications to existing electrical installations from engineering and technical detailing through execution, commissioning and final handover.
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating electrical modifications across an operational site, working with electrical diagrams, cabling, power supplies and associated components. The role combines hands-on technical engineering with project coordination, requiring someone who can translate requirements into practical, compliant solutions and maintain engineering quality throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with project management, contractors, suppliers and site stakeholders, evaluating technical proposals and supporting execution, testing and commissioning. An important part of the position is ensuring that modifications comply with applicable technical standards and safety requirements and that accurate documentation is handed over to the maintenance organisation.

What You'll Do
Engineer and technically detail modifications to existing electrical installations.
Develop changes to electrical diagrams, cables, power supplies and electrical components.
Prepare and review technical specifications, bills of materials, spare-parts proposals and engineering documentation.
Guide electrical engineering projects from initial concept and definition through execution and delivery.
Coordinate engineering activities with project management, contractors and site stakeholders.
Evaluate technical proposals submitted by suppliers and contractors.
Provide technical guidance and support during execution, testing and commissioning.
Verify that modifications have been completed correctly and comply with applicable standards and safety requirements.
Update technical documentation following modifications.
Ensure an effective technical handover to the maintenance organisation.
What You Bring
A completed Higher Professional Education (HBO) degree in Electrical Engineering, or an appropriately comparable qualification.
A valid VCA VOL safety certificate.
At least five years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
