- Design MV/LV electrical reticulation networks for residential, commercial and industrial developments
- Prepare electrical engineering designs, specifications and technical reports
- Design building services including power distribution, standby generation, UPS systems, lighting and associated electrical infrastructure
- Incorporate electronic building services including fire detection, CCTV, access control and Building Management Systems
- Conduct master planning and infrastructure assessments where required
Project Leadership
- Manage projects from concept through construction and final commissioning
- Liaise with clients, municipalities, contractors and multidisciplinary consulting teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with applicable engineering standards
- Maintain exceptional quality, compliance and technical excellence throughout every project
Candidate Profile
- A technically strong consulting engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while building long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- BEng, BSc or BTech in Electrical Engineering
- Approximately 5–7 years' consulting engineering experience
- Strong experience within building services and electrical reticulation
- Professional Registration Pr.Eng / Pr.TechEng advantageous, or actively progressing towards registration
- Excellent communication, project management and client liaison skills
- High level of technical competence and engineering judgement
