- A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in Durbanville on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and infrastructure projects, particularly electrical reticulation, to become part of a collaborative and technically driven environment.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering projects while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for infrastructure and development projects.
- Prepare technical designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Design and coordinate electrical reticulation systems.
- Produce and review engineering drawings and project documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable South African standards and client specifications.
- Manage project deliverables within programme and budget requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years' relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Experience in electrical reticulation will be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering design principles and infrastructure projects.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
