- Designing electrical reticulation networks for residential and industrial developments
- Managing HV, MV and LV power distribution systems, including infrastructure planning and assessments
- Designing building electrical services, standby power, UPS systems, lighting, earthing and lightning protection
- Integrating electronic systems, including fire detection, CCTV, access control, data/telecommunications and building management systems
- Overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
Criteria
- BTech or BSc/BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–7 years' consulting engineering experience in building services and electrical reticulation
- ECSA registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng preferred, or progress towards professional registration
- Strong engineering design and analysis software skills
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail, professional integrity and commitment to quality
- -High level of English proficiency and good business-level Afrikaans proficiency
