Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Design, develop and support electrical and electronic engineering projects within the renewable energy sector
- Provide technical input into solar PV, battery storage and power generation installations
- Assist with the design, testing, commissioning and optimisation of renewable energy systems
- Support utility-scale, commercial and industrial renewable energy projects
- Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting and performance analysis on solar and electrical systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, engineering calculations and specifications
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-7 years' of Electrical and Electronic Engineering experience
- Experience in solar PV, renewable energy, battery storage or power generation projects
- Knowledge of grid-connected and off-grid energy systems advantageous
- Understanding of electrical design principles, protection systems and industry standards
- Experience with system testing, commissioning and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with inverters, transformers, switchgear and balance-of-plant equipment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Project engineering experience within the renewable energy sector advantageous
Qualification
- BEng, BSc, BTech or National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
