• Relevant tertiary qualification in Ecommerce, Business, Marketing, Retail, Information Systems or a related field would be advantageous. • Proven experience managing an in-house ecommerce site, preferably WooCommerce. • Strong experience managing Takealot, Amazon or comparable marketplace accounts. • Demonstrated ability to grow online sales through conversion, pricing, product and marketplace optimisation. • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand margin, costs and profitability. • Experience with ecommerce fulfilment, logistics and operational workflows. • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills. • Experience managing a high-SKU catalogue would be advantageous. • Stock2Shop and Syspro experience would be highly advantageous. • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder-engagement skills. • Able to represent the business confidently with marketplace partners and service providers. • Hands-on and execution-focused, rather than a strategy-only profile. • A valid drivers licence and willingness to travel locally. What You Will Be Doing:
Sales Growth and Commercial Performance: • Develop and execute the ecommerce sales plan in support of the companys growth objectives. • Drive online revenue, conversion, sell-through, margin and profitability. • Analyse product, category and channel performance and take action to improve results. • Optimise pricing, promotions, product availability, ranking and merchandising across channels. • Identify new ecommerce platforms, partnerships and routes to market. • Represent the business externally and meet with marketplace partners, service providers and potential channel partners. • Monitor competitors, marketplace developments and category trends. • Prepare sales forecasts and track performance against commercial targets. Website and Marketplace Management: • Take commercial and operational ownership of the companys WooCommerce website. • Manage Takealot, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace and other approved marketplace accounts. • Ensure listings are complete, compliant, competitively positioned and commercially effective. • Build productive relationships with marketplace account managers. • Plan and implement marketplace promotions and product launches. • Manage the product assortment and availability across each channel. Ecommerce Operations: • Oversee the customer order journey from placement through fulfilment, delivery, returns and resolution. • Co-ordinate with the distribution centre, stock teams, couriers and service providers. • Monitor stock availability, cancellations, returns, delivery performance and order exceptions. • Ensure
