We are seeking a qualified and experienced EC&I Resident Engineer for a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. Duties & Responsibilities
𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
- NDip, BTech, or BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Mandatory mining site experience
- Willingness to be based on-site / work remotely
- Professional registration (ECSA) preferred
- Sound understanding and application of FIDIC contract provisions and contract administration principles
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
- Strong understanding of construction projects
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes
- Experience with payment verifications and on-site procedures
- Proficiency in Autodesk software packages will be advantageous
- Experience in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I)
- Exposure to commissioning activities within these disciplines will be beneficial
