EC&I Resident Engineer – Pretoria
Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking a qualified and experienced EC&I Resident Engineer for an initial 12-month contract position, with a strong possibility of extension. This role offers a dynamic split between site-based execution and remote work capabilities within South Africa. Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- Project Delivery: Drive on-site procedures, project delivery, and maintain strict quality standards.
- Financial & Site Control: Manage payment verifications and standard on-site engineering procedures.
- Technical Oversight: Apply solid experience in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) construction projects.
- Commissioning: Oversee and contribute to commissioning activities within the EC&I disciplines (highly beneficial).
- Systems & Design: Utilize Autodesk software packages to streamline engineering workflows (advantageous).
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Education: NDip, BTech, or BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Site Exposure: Mandatory on-site construction project experience.
- Flexibility: Complete willingness to be based on-site and work remotely within South Africa
