EC&I Draughtsman / Modeller

Key Responsibilities

• Produce Electrical, Control & Instrumentation drawings and models
• Prepare P&IDs, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings
• Develop electrical layouts for small power, lighting, cableways, equipment locations and routing
• Produce instrument loop drawings, hook-up drawings and equipment arrangement drawings
• Interpret equipment and engineering information and incorporate it into design drawings
• Prepare drawing packages and associated transmittals
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and engineering documentation
• Maintain and improve company draughting standards
• Conduct site measurements, inspections and drawing verification
• Check drawings against actual site installation requirements
• Coordinate EC&I drawing information with multidisciplinary engineering teams

Minimum Requirements ð??? 3+ years experience in Electrical & Instrumentation / EC&I draughting or modelling ð??» Experience with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, DesSoft, IronCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor â?¡ Good understanding of electrical and instrumentation drawings, layouts and schematics ð?? Experience producing technical drawings within an engineering, industrial, process plant or project environment ð?§  Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical ability ð??£ï¸ Good written and verbal communication skills ð??? Self-motivated and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
