Introduction

Maizey's, a proudly South African family-owned company established in 1950, is looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce / Export Administrator to join our team in JetPark. This role provides administrative support across our Export and E-Commerce departments, covering order processing, courier coordination, stock administration, and customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Order Processing

  • Process Export and E-Commerce sales orders accurately and timeously
  • Process ME orders from GDC, KDC, and GWA
  • Verify stock availability before order processing
  • Generate invoices and shipping documentation
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding orders

Courier Coordination

  • Arrange courier collections and deliveries
  • Obtain courier quotations when required
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers and branches

Transfer Orders

  • Process branch and warehouse transfer orders
  • Monitor open transfer orders and follow up on delays
  • Ensure transfer documentation is completed and filed correctly

Stock Administration

  • Conduct stock availability checks
  • Assist with stock investigations and discrepancy reporting
  • Support cycle counts and stock take activities
  • Communicate stock shortages to relevant stakeholders

Filing & Administration

  • Maintain accurate filing systems for orders, PODs, export documentation, and courier records
  • Ensure all records are filed and easily retrievable for audit purposes
  • Maintain accurate customer and operational records

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer and branch order queries
  • Provide order status and shipment updates

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field advantageous
  • Minimum 2–3 years' administration experience in a logistics, distribution, export, or customer service environment
  • Experience processing sales orders and transfer orders
  • Experience coordinating couriers and deliveries
  • Warehousing, stacking, and storing experience
  • Good understanding of stock control processes
  • Computer literate (MS Excel, Outlook, ERP/WMS systems); experience on Dynamix AX advantageous
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good communication, people, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure, with excellent time management
  • Excellent disciplinary and attendance record
