- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections: tyres, lights, oil, water, brakes
- Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and offloaded correctly with no damage
- Complete trip sheets, delivery notes, and logbooks accurately
- Adhere to all road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, and incidents immediately to management
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and assist with basic maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PrDP - Goods
- 3 to 5 years proven experience driving Code 10 trucks, preferably in hardware, retail distribution, or fleet environment
- Clear driving record - No major traffic violations
- Contactable references from previous employers must be provided
- Matric / Grade 12 is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Physically fit for loading/offloading
- Must be able to do long distance and overnight trips

- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
