To drive an Ultra-heavy motor vehicle with a gross combination mass that exceeds 25000 kg in alignment with predefined work objectives (as per agreed standard operating procedures).
Key Performance Areas
- Deliver work activities according to set standards in order to satisfy customers.
- Attend learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills.
- Own and live up to the company values.
- Execute own work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements.
- Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
- Plan and organise own tasks to make sure that performance targets are met and standard operating procedures are adhered to (daily to 3 months).
- Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise financial performance.
- Provide continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making.
Qualifications required
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Valid Code EC Driver’s Licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
Skills and experience required
- Up to 3 years' experience as a Superlink Driver or in a similar ultra-heavy vehicle driving environment.
- Ability to operate ultra-heavy motor vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Clear understanding of road safety requirements and transport regulations.
- Strong understanding of road safety practices and compliance standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
