About the Company
Our client, a company specialising in LED lighting solutions, is seeking a reliable, organised and hardworking Driver / Stock Controller to join their branch in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers, assisting with stock control and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse and delivery operations.
Location: Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape
Starting Salary: R12,000 per month
Industry: LED Lighting / Electrical Products
MUST BE BASED IN PE/NO RELOCATION ALLOWED
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver LED lighting products and related goods to customers and other designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
- Load and offload stock while ensuring products are handled with care.
- Receive, check and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and invoices.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock counts.
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Keep the stockroom and warehouse organised, clean and secure.
- Ensure delivery notes, invoices and other relevant documentation are completed accurately.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks and ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition.
- Follow company procedures relating to stock handling, deliveries and customer service.
- Assist with general branch duties when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver's licence.
- Previous driving and delivery experience.
- Experience in stock control, warehousing or inventory management would be advantageous.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate stock records.
- Ability to load and offload goods when required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be based in or around Gqeberha.
Package & Remuneration
Starting Salary: R12,000 per month
