MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available: Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Safely transporting staff, documents, equipment and other items as required.
- Completing daily collections and deliveries to suppliers, banks, service providers and other locations.
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintaining a proper record/logbook of all trips undertaken.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is kept clean, secure and in good working condition.
- Conducting basic vehicle checks and promptly reporting any maintenance or mechanical concerns.
- Ensuring that vehicle licence, service and other relevant requirements are monitored and reported.
- Adhering to all road traffic legislation and MANCOSA policies and procedures.
- Maintaining confidentiality when handling documents or information.
- Assisting with general administrative or operational duties when required.
- Representing MANCOSA professionally when interacting with staff, students, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Matric / Grade 12. • Valid South African driver's licence. • Minimum 3 years' professional driving experience. • Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas. • A clean and responsible driving record. • Ability to use GPS/navigation applications. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Willingness to work flexible hours when operationally required.
