NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric.
  • Valid Code 14 licence & PDP.
  • 2–3 years’ driving experience in logistics/automotive/manufacturing.

Minimum requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Valid Code 14 licence & PDP with a clean driving record.
  • 2–3 years’ professional driving experience in logistics, automotive or manufacturing.
  • Good command of English.
  • Experience transporting vehicles and automotive components.
  • Knowledge of trailers, flatbeds and vehicle tie-down/towing techniques.
  • Ability to safely load and secure cargo.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg.
  • Forklift or enclosed car hauler experience advantageous.
  • Basic mechanical or automotive experience advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Transport customer, fleet and modified production vehicles safely between facilities.
  • Collect automotive parts, modification kits and supplies from suppliers and vendors.
  • Transfer stock, equipment and consumables between company sites and workshops.
  • Deliver parts and orders to customers and external partners.
  • Complete delivery notes, inspection forms and proof of delivery accurately.
  • Load, secure and unload cargo safely.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Inspect vehicles and record existing damage before transportation.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery receipts and fuel records.
  • Plan safe and efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Maintain clean transport vehicles and report mechanical issues promptly.
  • Comply with road laws, safety regulations and company driving policies.
