Driver Code 14

Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs Employment Type: Contractor Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 14 heavy motor vehicle safely and responsibly.

• Transport goods to designated customers and delivery points.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Ensure safe loading, securing, and transportation of goods.

• Verify stock quantities and ensure correct deliveries.

• Obtain proof of delivery and follow delivery schedules.

• Report delays, accidents, and delivery discrepancies.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and comply with regulations.

• Monitor fuel usage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

• Assist with loading and offloading as needed.

• Perform other duties as instructed by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver's licence.

• Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) where required.

• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience.

• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Ability to read and understand delivery documentation.

• Customer service skills and reliability.

• Physically fit and safety-conscious.

• Good time management and organisational skills.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime.

• Clear criminal record as required.
