Code 10 Driver position available for distribution in Parow Industry.
Dangerous Goods certificate preferred.
Own transport to & from work (public transport acceptable but you might return return late on some evenings)
Daily Duties: Load and deliver customer orders as per the delivery schedule in Cape Town surrounding areas and from time-to-time country routes.
Check your goods before your truck gets loaded.
Check correct quantities are delivered to customers.
Check and ensure correct quantities are collected from suppliers.
Ensure delivery / collection documents are completed accurately.
Ensure vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages.
Do daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical defects/unroadworthy issues.
Ensure the delivery vehicle is always clean.
Liaise with customers / suppliers professionally and ensure trips are planned prior to departure from the warehouse.
Use your phone to communicate any problems via WhatsApp to warehouse management team while doing deliveries from time to time when required.
Movement of products/ stock in and out of warehouse.
Additional duties if not out on deliveries:
Packing of stock onto shelves.
Picking and packing of customer orders.
Washing & cleaning your delivery vehicle
Dangerous Goods certification will get preference.
Physical fit and able to lift products of +30Kg Hourly rate R42.00 + Overtime hours + Profit & Fund for permanent driver position (first 6 months’ probation)
