Job Summary

We are looking for a Professional Driver with a valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence to join our team in Benoni , specifically in Apex - Eastern Suburbs. As a Contractor, you will report to the Operation department and be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations while adhering to company procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive company vehicles in compliance with traffic rules and company policies.

• Deliver Goods: Transport goods to customers, branches, and suppliers.

• Inspect Vehicles: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Ensure Load Safety: Secure and transport goods, verify delivery documentation, and plan delivery routes.

• Documentation: Verify and complete delivery paperwork accurately.

• Accident Reporting: Report incidents, accidents, and delays promptly.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep assigned vehicle clean and well-maintained.

• Customer Service: Provide courteous service, handle goods responsibly, and represent the company positively.

• Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and company regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence.

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) as necessary.

• Good understanding of SA roads and regulations.

• Good communication, independent work ability, and punctuality.

• Rate: R36.45 Per hour

• Must have Matric/Grade 12

• 4 Years experience within the delivery industry

• Available immediately

• Clean criminal record
