Job Summary We are looking for a Professional Driver with a valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence to join our team in Benoni , specifically in Apex - Eastern Suburbs. As a Contractor, you will report to the Operation department and be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations while adhering to company procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive company vehicles in compliance with traffic rules and company policies.
- Deliver Goods: Transport goods to customers, branches, and suppliers.
- Inspect Vehicles: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Ensure Load Safety: Secure and transport goods, verify delivery documentation, and plan delivery routes.
- Documentation: Verify and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Accident Reporting: Report incidents, accidents, and delays promptly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep assigned vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous service, handle goods responsibly, and represent the company positively.
- Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and company regulations.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 (C1) driver's licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) as necessary.
- Good understanding of SA roads and regulations.
- Good communication, independent work ability, and punctuality.
- Rate: R36.45 Per hour
- Must have Matric/Grade 12
- 4 Years experience within the delivery industry
- Available immediately
- Clean criminal record
