Driver Code 10 & 14DGP - Contractor Position

Job Description

We are seeking experienced drivers with Code 10 and Code 14 licenses to operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods, conducting vehicle inspections, completing documentation, and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles with a Code 10/14 licence safely

• Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Transport goods to designated locations

• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and offloaded correctly

• Complete required documentation accurately

• Report vehicle defects and incidents promptly

• Maintain accurate records and keep the vehicle clean

• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations

• Assist with loading and offloading when necessary

Key Competencies

• Safe driving and reliability

• Good time management and attention to detail

• Customer service orientation and accountability

• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and independence

• Valid driver's license and dangerous goods

• 3 -4 year's experience as a professional driver

• Good knowledge of routes and road safety

• Good communication skills

• Grade 12

• Clean criminal records

• 2 X contactable references
