Driver – Malmesbury, Western Cape
An opportunity is available for a reliable, trustworthy and professional Driver to join a dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of new and pre-owned vehicles, transporting customers and staff when required, and assisting with general dealership duties.
Requirements
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
- Previous driving experience is essential.
- Dealership or motor industry experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of vehicle licensing and registration procedures will be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
- Good communication, organisational and time-management skills.
- Must be punctual, well-presented, detail-oriented and customer-focused.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver new and pre-owned vehicles safely.
- Transport customers and staff when required.
- Handle vehicle licensing, registration and related documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding licensing and registration applications.
- Collect and deliver parts, documents and other dealership items.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs.
- Keep vehicles clean and presentable.
- Report any vehicle damage, faults or incidents promptly.
- Ensure the safe handling of vehicles, keys and documentation.
