REQUIREMENTS

• Matric with Mathematics (non-negotiable)
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 drivers license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) (non-negotiable)
• 13 years driving experience
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision
• Computer literate

DUTIES

• Manage on-time, in-full deliveries.
• Deliver according to the route sheet and ensure deliveries are made to the correct address.
• Ensure all required documentation accompanies each delivery.
• Compare the delivery note against the delivery load to ensure accuracy.
• Direct all customer complaints and delivery notes to the relevant Warehouse Administration team.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly, with the load distributed evenly and securely.
• Sign for and acknowledge acceptance of the load.
• Ensure customer rejections are handled in accordance with the applicable procedures.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols both on-site and en route.
• Ensure the company vehicle policy is adhered to at all times.
• Conduct daily physical vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Conduct regular temperature checks and record the readings accurately.
• Ensure all products and packaging remain intact and undamaged during loading and offloading.
