Well established pharmaceutical company (nutraceuticals) is looking for a Doctor Detailing Representative to cover the Northern suburbs of Cape Town. Duties & Responsibilities
Territory : Cape Town and the Garden Route, including Durbanville, Bellville, Parow, Goodwood, Panorama, Kraaifontein, Kuils River, Cape Gate, Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Strand, Gordons Bay, Paarl, Wellington, Ceres and Worcester.
Skills & Qualifications
Sales / Marketing Qualification (Degree / Diploma / Courses) Minimum of 3-4 years’ pharmaceutical sales experience Must have current business relationships with doctors, gynaecologists, cardiologists, paediatricians, physicians, independent pharmacies, Dischem and Clicks stores
Target driven and proof of sales targets achieved Valid drivers licence and own vehicle Understands usage of SSD. Understands usage of Repwise Confident with training of staff Promote and detail a portfolio of nutraceutical products to all healthcare professionals. Achieve territory sales targets and growth objectives in the assigned region Conduct regular, structured calls on all HCPs. Deliver product presentations, clinical evidence and samples that align with each HCP’s specialty Build and maintain a balanced minimum 5/5 call coverage across all HCPs (5 pharmacies + 5 doctors per day) Negotiate listings, shelf positioning, promotions and orders with retail accounts Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with national strategy Map and segment the HCP landscape; identify high-potential prescribers and accounts Maintain an accurate CRM database with call activity, samples issued, follow up actions and trainings Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets Adhere to SAHPRA guidelines where applicable and the company’s code of conduct. Submit expense claims, leave forms and required compliance documentation on time
Must be able to do country trips Team player who can also work independently Passionate about health wellness and preventative health care Package & Remuneration
