Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Actively drives Quality and Food Safety awareness on site
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the brewery's Quality Management System.
  • Coordinate periodic document reviews with process owners.
  • Maintain Food Safety documentation including; HACCP plans, PRP procedures, Food Defence and TACCP documentation
  • Support non-conformance management and ensure loop closure
  • Assist in the planning, development and implementation of the Quality Pillar for Site
  • Align documentation objectives to Ab-Inbev standards
  • Site champion for all document and record keeping by ensuring PDM is managed as per the Acadia system
  • Ensure all documentation including work practice documentation is current and reflective of the process
  • Motivate key personnel to take accountability for Document management within their area of responsibility
  • Develop and maintain procedures, SOP's, standard operating practices and site-specific policies for Document Control
  • Conduct Quality and Food Safety Trainings across site as required.
  • Plan and manage internal and external audits documentation
  • Archive obsolete records in accordance with document retention schedules
  • Coordinate Management of Change MOC documentation ensure document updates following process, equipment, or specification changes
  • Owner of TNA for quality management system competence

Key Attributes and Competencies

  • Sound knowledge and experience of the food safety system and standards
  • Keen interest in data manipulation
  • Good all round knowledge of AB-Inbev manufacturing processes and philosophies
  • Proven knowledge and experience in integrating and facilitating a multi- disciplinary group of skills, specialists and functions
  • Previous auditing experience would be advantageous
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Results focused with the ability to continuously raise the bar to achieve operational excellence
  • PC literacy
  • Analytical ability
  • Ability to lead people
  • Ability to work in teams

Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualification in Sciences or equivalent, 3 year related tertiary qualification is the minimum requirement
  • 3-5 years in a quality assurance discipline with solid understanding of systems and knowledge of the Brewery processes
