Distribution Clerk

Introduction

A vacancy exists in the Bravo Group Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd. Sleep Division – Epping Industrial 2, Western Cape, for the following Permanent Salaried position: Distribution Clerk

KEY OBJECTIVES (JOB - WHY DOES THE POSITION EXIST?)

The key objective of this position is to provide excellent customer care.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Give customers feedback on outstanding orders

• When required obtain delivery extensions.

• Ensure that goods are ready for collection

• Ensure that goods are placed in loading bay

• Ensure that goods are invoiced

• Liaise with drivers at point of delivery

• Liaise with H/O on non-delivery

• Obtain authorization for goods to be returned

• Make warehouse/stores bookings and record on spreadsheet

• Inform all parties of booking changes.

• Create trip sheets for vehicles leaving the premises

• De-brief drivers when they return from their trip and date system.

• Ensure all P.O.D.'s are accounted for and sent to Admin for capturing.

• Filling of vehicle trip sheets

• Follow up on outstanding G.R.V.'s when required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12

• Business Administration/Supply Chain Qualification

• Computer literacy (Excel, Word)

• Previous experience in a customer care environment/distribution

• Working knowledge of Syspro would be advantageous

Experience

3 Years experience in Production/Customer Care/Distribution environment process
