Take ownership of a substantial distribution centre operation where service delivery, cost control and operational discipline are critical. You will lead the full warehousing and distribution function, ensuring the operation consistently achieves customer, financial, contractual and legislative requirements.
This position requires an experienced logistics leader who understands the complexities of high-volume, fast-moving distribution and can drive measurable improvements across people, inventory and operational performance. You will bring a practical, analytical management style, strong customer-service orientation and the ability to lead teams while maintaining tight operational and commercial control.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric plus a tertiary qualification in Logistics or Road Transport Management
- 10+ years’ logistics experience
- Minimum 7 years at senior supervisory or middle-management level
- Essential experience within high-volume FMCG, retail or fast-moving distribution environments
- Strong transport and logistics knowledge
- Knowledge of the NBCRFI Agreement and relevant road traffic legislation
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills
