Key Responsibilities
- Decision making: Confidently pivot and troubleshoot in a rapidly evolving logistics environment.
- KPI reporting: Deliver accurate performance metrics and drive operational excellence.
- Cost management: Ensure financial efficiency while adhering to SOPs.
- Mentorship: Guide and develop existing staff into high‑performing teams.
- Client relations: Build strong partnerships with clients, requiring travel own car and valid driver's license essential.
- Labour management: Experience working with 3rd‑party labour companies dual employee‑ship.
- Risk awareness: Maintain a sharp sense of risk factors impacting operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate Matric
- Diploma in Road & Transport Management, Warehousing, or related field
- Computer literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Leadership experience: Minimum 3 years in a middle management role within warehousing
- Team management: Proven ability to lead a team of leaders
- Health & Safety knowledge: Experience in managing programmes according to legal specifications An added advantage
- Willing to travel: Own car and valid driver's license
