Job Title: DISTRIBUTION CENTER MANAGER (NELSPRUIT) Start Date: 2026-08-07 - 2026-09-06 Vacancy Type: Permanent NEL012893 Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse Fleet and Distribution Location: Mpumalanga , Nelspruit Salary: Brief: Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a dynamic Distribution Center Manager to lead operations with precision, adaptability, and strategic insight. This is a pivotal role for a professional who thrives in fast‑changing environments and can run a DC as if it were their own business. Detail: Key Responsibilities Decision making : Confidently pivot and troubleshoot in a rapidly evolving logistics environment. KPI reporting : Deliver accurate performance metrics and drive operational excellence. Cost management : Ensure financial efficiency while adhering to SOPs. Mentorship : Guide and develop existing staff into high‑performing teams. Client relations : Build strong partnerships with clients, requiring travel (own car and valid driver's license essential). Labour management : Experience working with 3rd‑party labour companies (dual employee‑ship). Risk awareness : Maintain a sharp sense of risk factors impacting operations. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Certificate (Matric) Diploma in Road & Transport Management, Warehousing, or related field Computer literacy : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Leadership experience : Minimum 3 years in a middle management role within warehousing Team management : Proven ability to lead a team of leaders Health & Safety knowledge : Experience in managing programmes according to legal specifications (An added advantage) Willing to travel : Own car and valid driver's license Please Note: Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates in line with our client's commitment to transformation.
