Based in Cape Town or Durban | Channel Sales & Distribution | SaaS & Cloud
An established technology business is looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to grow its MSP partner network through established distribution channels. This is an individual contributor role suited to someone confident working independently, with no regional team.
You will recruit, activate and develop new and underperforming partners, building them into consistent recurring revenue contributors.
Must be able and willing to travel frequently between Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal. All company-related travel costs will be covered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new MSP partners.
- Activate dormant and development-stage accounts.
- Build distributor-led pipelines and revenue.
- Support partners through early-stage sales opportunities.
- Drive partner enablement and recurring revenue growth.
- Manage pipeline, forecasting and conversion KPIs.
- Gather market and competitor intelligence.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
- Solid experience in channel sales, business development or IT distribution.
- Proven experience within IT distributors and MSP ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models.
- Experience in cloud backup, disaster recovery or cybersecurity.
- Proven partner recruitment, prospecting and account development capability.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
Package & Remuneration
Basic salary plus high-earning commission and corporate benefits
