Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor Start Date: 2026-07-28 - 2026-08-27 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB002165 Sectors: Logistics, Warehouse & Freight Location: Gauteng , East Rand Salary: R15 000 - R18 000 Monthly Cost To Company Brief: Our client, a well-established leader in the food manufacturing industry, is looking to appoint an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join their operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily dispatch activities, leading the dispatch team, and ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and customer service. Detail: Duties & Responsibilities Lead and motivate Drivers and Vehicle Loading Assistants to achieve daily dispatch targets. Supervise the accurate loading and dispatch of customer orders. Ensure all products meet quality, packaging, batch, and temperature requirements before dispatch. Coordinate daily loading schedules and delivery routes. Verify invoices, trip sheets, and dispatch documentation. Monitor stock handling to minimise damage and wastage. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the dispatch area. Train and mentor new team members. Enforce Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety procedures. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Assist with month-end stock takes. Work closely with the Dispatch Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. Desired Experience & Qualification Previous experience as a Dispatch Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, or Logistics Supervisor (preferably in FMCG or Food Manufacturing) Computer literate Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Good understanding of food safety, quality, and health & safety standards Own reliable transport (essential) Able to work the afternoon shift (14:00 – 23:00) show more...
