- Develop the national warehouse network strategy aligned to long-term business growth.
- Lead property identification, feasibility studies and warehouse investment planning.
- Manage warehouse development from concept, design and engineering through construction and operational readiness.
- Design efficient warehouse layouts, operating models and material flow processes.
- Lead Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and digital warehouse transformation initiatives.
- Build and lead high-performing warehouse leadership teams nationally.
- Assume executive accountability for national warehouse operations following implementation.
- Manage capital expenditure budgets, operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive Lean, automation and operational excellence across all facilities.
- Build strategic relationships with developers, contractors, engineering firms and executive stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
- 1520 years' experience within logistics, supply chain or contract logistics.
- At least 10 years in senior warehouse leadership roles.
- Proven experience delivering greenfield warehouse or distribution centre projects from concept to operational launch.
- Extensive experience managing multi-site warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse design, operational engineering, warehouse automation and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated experience leading large capital infrastructure projects.
- Strong commercial, financial and strategic leadership capability.
- Experience within multinational logistics, retail, manufacturing, electronics or FMCG environments will be highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
