The Gibb IT Department is looking for another talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Digital Transformation & Data Manager. Core Purpose The Digital Transformation & Data Manager is responsible for driving the organisation's digital transformation strategy through the effective management of enterprise data, analytics, business reporting, digital solutions delivery, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. The role ensures that data is treated as a strategic asset, enabling informed decision-making through trusted reporting and analytics while leading the identification, development, and implementation of digital technologies, automation solutions, and AI capabilities that improve operational efficiency, business performance, and client value. The incumbent will act as the bridge between business units, IT, and executive leadership to ensure digital initiatives align with organisational objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role aligns closely with responsibilities for Data & Analytics, Business Reporting, Digital Delivery, AI, and Digital Twin solutions within the IT operating model. Key Performance Areas 1. Data & Analytics Strategy Develop and execute the enterprise data and analytics roadmap. Establish data governance frameworks, standards, and policies. Drive data quality, integrity, security, and compliance initiatives. Manage enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and data integrations. Promote a data-driven culture across the organisation. Lead data modelling, master data management, and information architecture initiatives. Identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic and operational decision-making. 2. Business Intelligence & Reporting Own the enterprise reporting and business intelligence platform. Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting frameworks. Ensure accurate, timely, and accessible business reporting. Drive self-service analytics capabilities using tools such as Power BI. Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and performance measures. Provide actionable insights through advanced analytics and trend analysis. 3. Digital Transformation & Digital Delivery Lead digital transformation initiatives across business units. Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and process digitisation. Manage the delivery of digital products, platforms, and business applications. Establish governance and prioritisation processes for digital initiatives. Oversee implementation of digital solutions that improve productivity and customer experience. Support innovation through emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and digital engineering solutions. Evaluate and implement Digital Twin and intelligent asset management solutions where applicable. 4. Artificial Intelligence & Automation Develop and implement the organisation's AI strategy and roadmap. Identify and prioritise AI opportunities that deliver measurable business value. Govern the responsible, ethical, and secure use of AI technologies. Lead the implementation of AI-powered solutions, including Microsoft Copilot and intelligent automation tools. Establish AI governance, standards, and risk management processes. Drive adoption and awareness of AI capabilities across the organisation. Monitor AI solution effectiveness and business benefits. 5. Stakeholder & Change Management Engage with executives and business leaders to understand strategic priorities. Build strong relationships between business teams and technology functions. Lead digital change management and user adoption initiatives. Facilitate workshops, training, and awareness sessions. Communicate the value and progress of digital transformation programmes. 6. Governance, Risk and Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and information governance requirements. Maintain data privacy, security, and AI governance frameworks. Manage risks relating to data, analytics, digital platforms, and AI solutions. Establish performance measures and reporting for digital initiatives. 7. Team Leadership Lead and mentor analysts, developers, data professionals, and digital specialists. Build internal capabilities in analytics, automation, and AI. Manage external vendors and implementation partners. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
