- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure menus comply with nutritional requirements.
- Provide nutritional education to patients, residents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Review and approve menus, recipes, and portion standards.
- Support healthcare facilities in achieving nutritional and food service excellence.
- Assist with healthcare audits, quality assurance initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Review food service operations to ensure adherence to best-practice standards.
- Train, coach, and develop Front of House teams on patient interaction, meal service standards, special dietary requirements, presentation, portion control, allergen awareness, and customer service excellence.
- Partner with Catering Managers and operational teams to enhance the patient dining experience and overall client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or equivalent qualification
- Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa HPCSA
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Dietician
- Previous experience within a healthcare, hospital, retirement, clinical, or healthcare food service environment
- Experience training and developing Front of House and food service teams
- Sound knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and nutritional assessments
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, quality standards, and food service operations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong administrative and report-writing abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport advantageous
