Job Title: DIESEL TECHNICIAN – AUTOMOTIVE (PINETOWN) Start Date: 2026-08-13 - 2026-09-12 Vacancy Type: Permanent CT004354 Sectors: Engineering, Mining and Civil Motor / Vehicle Industry Location: KwaZulu Natal , Durban Salary: Brief: Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship, accurate job card completion, customer service, and compliance with manufacturer and safety standards. Detail: Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 or higher. Qualified Diesel Technician / Diesel Trade Test. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role. Valid Code 14 driver's licence with PDP. Strong diesel vehicle diagnostic and repair knowledge. Ability to accurately record labour, parts, lubricants, and consumables on job cards. Experience with warranty diagnosis and the 3 C's: Complaint, Cause, and Correction. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Physically fit and able to attend vehicle breakdowns. Strong commitment to health and safety and correct PPE usage. Ability to work effectively within a team and support/mentor apprentices. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and self-development.
