An established company based in Ballito is seeking a  Diesel Mechanic to assist with the day-to-day operations of their workshop and warehouse. Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to get quotes for new spares.

• Book transport collections.

• Oversea workshop staff (mainly general workers).

• General housekeeping ensuring all tooling is stored when not in use.

• Overseeing offloading of containers.

• Checking of all new stock before washing and painting.

• Ensuring all stock is marked correctly and palletized.

• Handling despatch of goods to customers.

• Ability to deal with a customer while they are in our warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a diesel mechanical/workshop environment.

• Practical and hands-on approach.

• Good organisational skills.

• Able to oversee general workers and workshop activities.

• Comfortable interacting with customers and suppliers.

• Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.

• Looking for part-time work to supplement their income.
