Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- A-level or B-level Diesel Mechanic qualification.
- Relevant experience within the automotive, motor vehicle or logistics industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability.
- Experience with diesel engines, servicing and repairs.
- Hydraulics experience will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and diesel-related faults.
- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Perform inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational.
- Assist with general mechanical and maintenance requirements as needed.
