- A well-established industrial company in Iswepe, Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on diesel and petrol vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Inspect and diagnose mechanical faults.
- Complete repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational.
- Supervise repair shop and workshop activities.
- Ensure effective performance of workshop staff and subordinates.
- Assist with maintenance and project-related work.
- Ensure all work is completed according to production, quality and safety requirements.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and OHSA requirements.
- Perform standby duties when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric with Core Mathematics
- N3 Mechanics
- Accredited Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
- Minimum 5 years' experience in motor mechanic maintenance within a heavy-industry factory environment
- Valid, unendorsed Code EC driver's licence
- Computer literate, including Microsoft 365
- Competent in English
- Clear criminal record
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance experience
- Workshop or repair shop supervision experience will be advantageous
