- Intercon Recruitment is recruiting a Diagnostic Technician for a position in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for an experienced technician with strong fault-finding skills and the ability to identify and resolve vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostic assessments to identify faults.
- Use diagnostic equipment to investigate mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
- Interpret diagnostic results and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Carry out troubleshooting and verify that identified faults have been resolved.
- Record diagnostic findings and work completed accurately.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–5 years' vehicle diagnostic experience.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment.
- Sound technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: R18,000–R22,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience, plus incentives, medical aid and pension
