Start free — we apply for you →Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible to coordinate all outbound logistics, verify truck loading accuracy against pick notes, manage driver documentation, and maintain dispatch deadlines.
Other responsibilities (not limited to)
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee goods receiving, unloading, inspection, checking paperwork, verification against purchase orders, completing Goods Receive Notes, proper binning/stacking, and internal raw material flow.
- Logistics: Loading of vehicles in accordance with picking lists, ensure all required documentation is complete and in order before final sign off is given.
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts, physical stock takes, checking and verification quality and order completeness against purchase orders, and reconcile discrepancies in line with inventory systems.
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety rules, proper PPE usage, fire safety, safe operation of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts), and strict site housekeeping.
Job Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / High School Diploma; a tertiary qualification or certificate in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing is an advantage.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on warehousing and dispatch experience, including at least 12 years in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
- Licensing: Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, practical problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, environment.
