Detail: Responsibilities Understanding design briefs Designing for manufacture using CAD for innovative projects Detailing Product prototyping FEA analysis Creation of process documentation Experimental procedures and reporting thereon Production process development and improvement Troubleshooting and problem solving in manufacturing processes Client communication and progress reports Preferred experience and characteristics Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering Three to five years work experience in an engineering environment, composites knowledge and experience preferred. Sound understanding and implementation of engineering processes and project work; Interest and ability in design Experience in SolidWorks or other CAD design programs is essential. A practical, action-oriented self-starter that can follow direction and work without constant supervision and who integrates easily into a team. Meticulous and accurate with a demonstrated work ethic. Strong accountability and a true ownership mentality.
