- This is a managerial role responsible to map, develop, drive automation initiatives across campaigns, including managing direct reports.
Technical Skills Required
Programming Languages
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Java, Python, or VBScript depending on the RPA platform.
- Ability to integrate automation with APIs and databases.
RPA Tools
- Hands-on experience with platforms like UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate.
- Knowledge of workflow design, BOT orchestration, and exception handling.
Software Development Practices
- Understanding of SDLC Software Development Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with version control systems Git, SVN.
- Testing and debugging skills.
Business & Analytical Skills
- Process Mapping & Analysis
- Ability to identify repetitive, rule-based tasks suitable for automation.
- Strong documentation and workflow design skills.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability.
Complementary Skills
- Database Knowledge: SQL for querying and managing data.
- Cloud & Integration: Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure, AWS and enterprise systems SAP, Salesforce.
- Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management to align automation with business goals.
Qualifications
- Occupational Certificate: RPA Developer NQF Level 5
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering is highly beneficial.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
