Requirements
- A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Accounting/ Financial Management/ Public Finance/ Public Administration/ Economics/ Local Government Finance/ Auditing/ Commerce or related field.
- 3-5 years junior Management level (ASD) experience in the accounting environment in municipal oversight, MFMA compliance monitoring, capacity building, stakeholder coordination, and support interventions and/or related environment
Duties
- To monitor compliance with financial management and annual reporting framework. Coordinate MFMA Implementation and Policy support. Monitor, support and report on the implementation of the MFMA and supporting regulations.
- Coordinate, engage and support stakeholder's engagements to enhance MFMA compliance. Coordinate and Monitor Municipal Capacity Building Programmes. Management of resources.
