DEPOT SUPERVISOR

Introduction

Busy wholesale diesel depot based in Edwin Swales looking for an experienced Forecourt Supervisor. The site operates 24/7.  The encumbent will need to be able to manage a team of 10 employees, and assist with the compliance of the Forecourt.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Updating and reconciling of shift sheets.

• Keeping records of customer fillings spreadsheet.

• Receiving of fuel.

• Ensure sufficient stock of paper for printer, card machine, cashnet, chemicals to clean forecourt, sufficient oils for sale and purchasing and stock management.

• Ensuring sufficient perishable stock (chips/biscuits/cooldrinks) are available for sale and stock management

• Ensure maintenance and repairs are up to date in respect of the pumps, airlines, watering can, squeegee, toilets, building in general, canopy and lights around the building.

• Ensure general site cleanliness.

• Ensuring compliance of site in terms of health and safety, and fire compliance.

• Banking of cash received on site

• Management of cashiers and be able to relieve cashiers when required.

• Supervising pump attendants.

• Monitoring of CCTV cameras.

• Management of security.

• Weekly updates for attendance and cleaning rosters.

• Weekly updates for lunch time schedules.

• Monthly update for cashier and pump attendant rosters.

• Weekly starting of the generator, ensuring there is sufficient water/diesel, and ensuring it is serviced regularly.

• Maintaining and submission of hours to payroll for processing.

• Assisting with operations when required.

• Check customers orders and payments are processed on the system

• Take meter readings of tenants

• Daily dips to be done

• Daily Water paste tests to be done

• Relieving cashier for lunch break

• Conducting and keeping records of breathlyser tests done on company drivers

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 3-6 years experience in the fuel industry

• valid drivers license

• leadership abilities

• Matric qualification

• Understanding of bulk fuel/ stock recon/ tank calibration / dip measurements / identifying fuel contamination

• understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards

• Computer and excel literate
