Industry: Automotive / Transport & Logistics / Manufacturing
Salary: R20 000 – R40 000 gross per month, (Depending on experience) plus commission (To be discussed)
Benefits: Pension Fund & Medical Aid after 3 months of permanent employment
Willingness to travel within Namibia and potentially elsewhere in Africa as and when required.
Must be a Namibian citizen. (Non-negotiable)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and control the overall depot operation and ensure efficient day-to-day functioning.
- Develop and grow the depot’s sales and market share in a highly competitive environment.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Service and support parts customers and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Provide excellent pre-sales and after-sales service.
- Manage all logistical functions within the depot.
- Oversee and maintain effective stock control and inventory management.
- Manage ordering and purchasing of stock to ensure adequate availability.
- Monitor and manage debtors and outstanding accounts.
- Ensure accurate and efficient administration of depot activities.
- Lead, motivate and manage depot staff to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
- Ensure that depot processes, policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, preferably within the transport industry.
- Proven sales, leadership and management experience.
- Experience in depot or branch operations will be advantageous.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Excel (Pivot Tables), MS Word and Syspro.
- Good technical aptitude.
- Experience in stock control and inventory management.
- Knowledge of trailer parts and related products.
- Experience in the trailer, transport and/or manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Namibia and potentially elsewhere in Africa as and when required.
- Must be a Namibian citizen. (Non-negotiable)
Package & Remuneration
