- BChD or equivalent qualification. Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist in the category of independent practice. Two years' experience as a Dentist after Community service.
- A postgraduate qualification in Dentistry or Public Health. Recommendations: Lecturing, clinical supervision, outreach experience and research.
Duties
- Teaching, supervision and assessment of undergraduate students in Community Dentistry. Supervising students in the clinical wards and on outreach platforms.
- Selective clinical duties within the hospital and in outreach platforms, will be assigned to the candidate which can include transporting students and managing and treating of patients.
- Attendance and participation in all departmental meetings including seminars and journal discussions. fulfil duties independently and apply innovative approaches in day-to day work and challenges.
